Dota 2 Canada Cup Season 7 features 16 American teams. First divided into four GSL type groups where the winner and second placed team of the group moves on to the double elimination playoffs. The group stage is played in a BO1 format. All matches in the playoffs are played in a BO3 format except for the first round of the losers bracket, which is played in a BO1 and the grand finals, which is played in a BO5.
