With the Red Bull Home Ground tournament just around the corner, 100 Thieves has reportedly solidified its VALORANT roster for 2024. However, do not consider this lineup set in stone, as changes may be on the horizon.

The New and the Old

According to a report from Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis, 100 Thieves has secured verbal agreements with Nicholas "NaturE" and Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic. NaturE previously played for TSM in NA Challengers. While eeiu and M80 came close to VCT Americas qualification with Ascension. But only narrowly missed out in the Grand Finals to The Guard.

The organization will maintain three of last year's starters, including Peter "Asuna" Mazuryk, Sean "bang" Bezerra, and Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban. This core group will continue to represent 100 Thieves in the upcoming Red Bull Home Ground event.

Uncertainty Looms for VCT 2024

NaturE and eeiu have agreed to participate in the Red Bull Home Ground event. However, Gomis emphasized that the composition of the VCT 2024 roster remains uncertain. The team has left the door open for potential quick roster changes. Thus keeping fans and analysts in suspense about the final lineup.

There's a possibility that 100 Thieves could be eyeing the addition of one or more world champion players. Notably, the organization recently extended an offer to Evil Geniuses for Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, although the offer was declined, according to a report by Richard Lewis. If 100 Thieves anticipates that EG may eventually release players due to financial considerations, the new additions to 100T could be temporary.

Seeking Improvement After a Challenging 2023 Season

Regardless of who 100 Thieves assembles for VCT 2024, the team is committed to enhancing its performance following a difficult 2023 season. They faced struggles in the latter half of the year. Missing out on the playoffs and losing their only match at the Americas Last Chance Qualifier.

The 2024 VALORANT season is set to kick off around March in Madrid, marking a fresh start for 100 Thieves.
