All Worlds Championship Skins Released to Date
Worlds. The pinnacle of achievement for a League of Legends pro player and the ultimate culmination of a year-long season. To earn a Worlds skin is to imprint a permanent fixture of said achievement, forever to be remembered within the game. With T1's recent back-to-back victory, they have an opportunity to deliver yet another Worlds skin collection on to the Rift.
In the meantime while we wait, let us take a trip through memory lane, and spot all the past champions' Worlds skins and what each one meant.
How does a player earn a Worlds skin?
Winning Worlds is certainly the main criteria for a player earning their customized skin, however, it is far from the only rule to follow in earning one.
- Participate in at least 2 Play-In Stage and Swiss Stage games that had an impact on the team's advancement (qualification/elimination games only).
- Participate in at least 1 Knockout Stage game
- Selected champion must have been played at least once at Worlds.
- If a team already has a skin for that particular champion from a previous win, Riot serves the right to request the player to pick another champion.
- Riot will also take into account the current deveopment queue for champion skins to determine the eligible pool players can pick from. This is to avoid releasing multiple skins for the same champion close to one another.
