Ahead of the LPL 2024 season, Bilibili Gaming has announced the addition of Midlaner Zhuo "knight" Ding to the roster.

Additionally, they have announced the return of Zuo "LvMao" Minghao.

Lastly, the current Support Luo "ON" Wenjun has extended his contract for the 2024 season.

Bilibili Gaming Ascend to the top:

After five unsuccessful years, Bilibili Gaming revamped their whole roster ahead of the 2023 LPL season, and rounded it off with Head Coach Wong "Tabe" Pak-kan’s addition.

Tabe’s strategic and draft ingenuity helped them qualify for their first League of Legends Worlds tournament ever.

Starting with LPL Spring 2023, finished fifth in the regular and placed second in the playoffs, their highest LPL placement yet. They followed it up with another second place finish at MSI 2023 behind JD Gaming.

Their strong runs continued as they finished the LPL Summer 2023 Group stage with a 15-1 record but lost to LNG Esports to finish third in the playoffs.

For the first time in six years, BLG qualified for the Worlds 2023 as China’s second seed. They qualified for the Knockout stage after eliminating LEC powerhouse G2 Esports.

The followed up the victory with a win over LCK #1 seed Gen.G Esports before losing to Weibo Gaming in a close affair to place 3rd-4th at Worlds 2023.

Preparing for LPL 2024:

Bilibili Gaming announced the departure of Tabe not too long ago. The Head Coach’s departure is surely a big hit to the BLG squad.

Additionally, Yagao, the team’s mid laner, left for JD gaming.

LvMao who joined the team for a brief stint will see his return to the roster after a short run with RNG. He will share his time as support with ON who has decided to extend his contract.

The biggest win for BLG is the addition of Knight to the roster. The MSI 2023 MVP is arguably the best mid-laner in the game right now. He spent his 2023 playing for JD Gaming but failed to win the Worlds 2023 which led to him and 369 leaving the squad.

The Bilibili Gaming squad for LPL 2024 is as follows:

With a mid lane powerhouse in the roster, it will be interesting to see who BLG brings as the head coach to continue as the top team in China for the LPL 2024 season.
