Day 4 of the Blast.tv Paris Major came to an end on the 11th of May 2023. The final 3 teams have made it into the Legends stage, while the other three have been sent home.

Game 1: FORZE vs GamerLegion

GL made easy work of FORZE, as they kicked off the day with a clean 2-0. First map was Overpass, where GL had a decent first half at 9-6. FORZE managed to get the lead in the second half at 9-11, but GL then had a CT-side win streak which helped them win the map at 16-12.

The teams then moved on to Inferno, where it was a CT-sided game. GL ended the first half 11-4 on their CT-side. FORZE managed to push back in the second half, and bring the score to 14-13. But then isak managed to pull off an incredible Ace to put GL on Map Point, and win the map 16-13.

Game 2: Monte vs paiN Gaming

It was Monte who claimed the second spot in the Legends Stage after they beat paiN 2-1 in their matchup. Starting off on Anubis, paiN Gaming had a decent first half at 9-6. Monte’s CT-side needed improvement as piaN cleaned up the map at 16-10.

The Europeans didn’t keep quiet, however, as they replied right back on Nuke. A near perfect CT-half for Monte, they only allowed paiN to win round in the first half. This momentum continued for the remaining 2 rounds, as Monte picked up the map in a dominating 16-1.

Mirage was the decider, where once again, paiN had a decent start. But Monte fought back, and ended the first half 8-7 in favor of paiN. But then Monte had another solid CT-side, as they allowed paiN only 2 more rounds. Monte won the map 16-10.

Game 3: Grayhound Gaming vs Team Liquid

The final spot in the Legends stage was claimed by Team Liquid, as they managed to beat Grayhound 2-0 in the series. It was Anubis to start us off, where Liquid had a dominant first half at 11-4. The second half looked a bit less solid from them, but they managed to take the map 16-9.

Moving on to Inferno, it was a similar story. Liquid had an even more dominant first half this time, ending the half at 12-3. Again Grayhound tried to fight back in the second half, but Liquid managed to take the map 16-9 again.

GamerLegion, Monte and Team Liquid are the final 3 teams to advance to the Legends Stage of the Blast.tv Paris Major.

FORZE, paiN Gaming and Grayhound Gaming have been eliminated.
