The Breakdown: Blast.tv Paris Major Asia-Pacific RMR Recap
The Blast.tv Paris Major Asia Pacific RMR took place from 6th April to 9th April. 8 teams took part in this event to qualify for the Paris Major.
2 out of the 8 teams managed to qualify in a double elimination style bracket.

Upper Bracket Quarterfinals:
All 8 teams went head-to-head in BO1s. The winners moved on to the Upper Bracket Semifinals. While the losers got sent down to the Lower Bracket Round 1. In this round, The Mongolz, Rare Atom, Greyhound Gaming, and Eruption move on to the next round, while Twisted Minds, VERTEX, TYLOO and Invictus Gaming got demoted to the Lower Bracket.
Upper Bracket Semi Finals:
Both Upper Bracket Semi Finals matches were BO1s, as The Mongolz beat Rare Atom 16-11, and Grayhound beat Eruption 16-12 to get to the Upper Bracket Finals.
Upper Bracket Finals:
Grayhound beat The Mongolz 2-1 in a BO3 series to become the first APAC team to qualify for the Blast.tv Paris Major. The Mongolz won Map 1 Anubis 19-16, but Grayhound had managed to get back in form and take the remaining 2 maps Inferno and Ancient 16-9 and 16-12 respectively.
Lower Bracket Round 1:
Twisted Minds and TYLOO beat VERTEX and Invictus 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. This pushed them into the lower Bracket Quarterfinals, where they would face off against the losers of the Upper Bracket Semi Finals.
Lower Bracket Quarterfinals:
Twisted Minds and TYLOO faced off against Eruption and Rare Atom respectively in this round. Twisted Minds and Rare Atom came out on top, winning their respective series at 2-1 and 2-0. This pushed them onto the Lower Bracket Semifinals.
Lower Bracket Semi Finals:
Twisted Minds went head-to-head against Rare Atom in a BO3 for a shot at the Lower Bracket Finals. Rare Atom came out on top in this altercation, as they won the series 2-0. On Map 1 Mirage, both teams were quite evenly matched, but Rare Atoms were just the better team, winning the map 16-14. On Map 2 vertigo, Twisted Minds seemed to have no answers for Rare Atom, as they were swept off their feet. Rare Atom won the map 16-7.
Lower Bracket Finals:
As Rare Atom battled their way to the Lower Bracket Finals, The Mongolz were given another chance at Qualification after their loss to Grayhound Gaming. The Mongolz made quick work of Rare Atom, as they won the series 2-0. Becoming the second and final APAC team to Qualify to the Challengers Stage of the Blast.tv Paris Major. They beat Rare Atom on both maps Inferno and Mirage 16-11 each.
