Unfortunately, RNG weren’t able to patch their issues from the regular season and now have only the Summer Split to look forward to. After dropping the first game, BLG dusted the legendary organization off by winning three straight games. This series featured a massive difference in the mid lane. With Angel looking shaky even during RNG’s single win, and Yagao dominating the series entirely.

BILIBILI GAMING vs. ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP (3-1)

GAME 1: RNG (0-1)

RNG’s sole win condition seemed to be getting GALA as far ahead as humanly possible. Wei spent a lot of time towards the bottom side, ganking the BLG bottom lane, and setting up GALA’s Zeri for success. Meanwhile, BLG’s top laner Bin casually gathered four kills on his Gwen by 22:00 establishing a huge threat to RNG. The game became relatively close, but GALA put the team on his back and brought RNG a victory. He finished with a 6/0/5 score line and a 700G bounty.

GAME 2: BLG (1-1)

A botched level one invade handed RNG an early kill onto Xun. But Xun recovered well on his Viego pick and put pressure onto GALA and Ming. A very tense third drake fight showed the power of Elk’s Zeri pick, and a few minutes later, BLG made a risky decision to sneak the Baron just after it spawned. ON’s Rakan also delivered in this game with some clutch engages on GALA. BLG used the Baron Buff to slowly widdle down RNG and end the game.

GAME 3: BLG (2-1)

Yagao put on a show in game three and proved that Angel was not on his level. He was pressured early on his Sylas pick, but after a few skirmishes, he was able to get a some Dark Seal stacks and completely take over the game. The only one who could match him on RNG’s side was GALA on his signature Zeri but it wasn’t enough. Yagao’s Sylas had too many ultimate options, sending us to a fourth game, and putting RNG on the back-foot as BLG secured match point.

GAME 4: BLG (3-1)

BLG’s jungler Xun played with heaps of confidence in this final game. His Lee Sin roamed the map during the early game, establishing a lead for himself. He had a 5/0/1 score line before 15:00. However he found his first death at the 22:00 dragon fight, but it didn’t matter. BLG ultimately won the team fight by the grace of Elk’s Aphelios, and took the Baron Buff right after. RNG tried to fight one last time, but an incredible Kennen ultimate from Bin shut the door on any chance at a comeback. BLG won in four games and now move on to face WBG on Monday.
