Cloud9 has earned a spot at the Red Bull Home Ground #5 Main Event, triumphing in the North American Play-ins.

The Valorant offseason continues to excite fans all around the world, with Cloud9 now also needing to prepare to compete in Berlin alongside some of the best teams in the world.

Dominating the North American qualifiers

The North American Play-ins were hosted for a live audience in Seattle, Washington, where four teams—Cloud9, Sentinels, Moist x Shopify (MXS), and YFP Gaming—battled for the opportunity to represent North America in Berlin.

Cloud9 debuted a revamped roster for this event, featuring mitch and v1c. MXS secured an early lead by winning the first map, but Cloud9 answered back, dominating the following two maps with identical 13-3 scores.

The grand finals saw Cloud9 face off against Sentinels, who had also introduced a new face to their roster: Reduxx. Cloud9 emerged victorious in a 2-0 sweep, winning 13-9 on Lotus and holding off a Sentinels comeback to win 13-10 on Bind.

Cloud9 heads to Berlin

With this victory, Cloud9 has secured its third consecutive appearance in the Red Bull Home Ground Main Event, which will take place in Berlin from November 20 to 23.

The American squad will be competing against other top-tier teams, also including reigning champions Fnatic, Karmine Corp, and FOKUS.

This year’s tournament promises fierce competition as teams across the world compete for the final four slots, rounding out the eight teams who will battle for the trophy.
