Dreamleague Season 25: Teams, Format, Schedule and More
DreamLeague Season 25 is set to kick off in just a few days. As part of the ESL Pro Tour Season 3, the tournament will feature a million-dollar prize pool, continuing the tradition of its previous seasons. Organized by ESL, this highly anticipated event promises intense competition and top-tier gameplay.
What Is DreamLeague Season 25?
DreamLeague Season 25 is the third tournament in the ESL Pro Tour Season 3, organized by ESL One. Like previous DreamLeague events, this tournament will be hosted online. In addition to prize pool earnings, participating teams will also earn valuable EPT points, a standard feature of all ESL One tournaments in recent years.

These EPT points are crucial for teams aiming to secure a direct invite to the Riyadh Masters 2025. In the previous season, the top eight teams on the EPT leaderboard qualified directly for the event.
The Participating Teams
Sixteen teams will participate in DreamLeague Season 25. Among them, four have received direct invites based on their standings in the EPT rankings, while the remaining teams find their way through the qualifiers.

Regions were allocated varying numbers of slots based on the strength of their competitive scenes. Western Europe received the highest number of slots, making it one of the most challenging regions.

Eastern Europe, China, and Southeast Asia each received two slots. The remaining regions – North America, South America, and MESWA were each granted one slot for the tournament.

Tournament Format
DreamLeague Season 25 will follow a format similar to its prior tournaments. It will feature two group stages and a playoffs.
In the first round-robin group stage, organisers will divide sixteen teams into two groups of eight. All series in this stage will follow a best-of-two (Bo2) format. The top four teams from each group will advance to the second group stage, while the remaining teams will be eliminated. The graphic below displays the teams for the seeding stage of the groups.

The second round-robin stage will feature a single group of eight teams, with all series being best-of-three (Bo3). The top two teams will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the teams finishing third and fourth will move to the lower bracket. The remaining teams are eliminated.

The playoffs will follow a double-elimination bracket. All playoff matches will be best-of-three (Bo3), except for the grand finals, which will be a best-of-five (Bo5).
DreamLeague Season 24 Schedule
DreamLeague Season 25 kicks off on February 16th. The competition includes three stages; Group Stage 1, Group Stage 2 and the Playoffs. The schedule for the tournament is as follows:
- Group Stage 1: February 16 - February 19, 2025
- Group Stage 2: February 21 - February 27, 2025
- Playoffs: March 1 - March 2, 2025
