Format

The highly anticipated ESL Pro League Season 19 is set to kick off on April 23rd, 2024, ushering in a new era as the tournament makes its debut in the CS2 landscape. The competition promises intense battles, strategic gameplay, and, of course, a glimpse into the evolving CS2 meta.

Group Stage Dynamics

The tournament format features a robust group stage where 32 teams are divided into four triple-elimination groups.

With each group hosting eight teams, all matches are Bo3, providing a stringent test for teams vying for the coveted playoff spots.

The top four teams from each group advance, with intriguing twists.

  • Group stage winners head directly to the Quarterfinals.
  • Runners-up advance to the Round of 12 as the High Seeds.
  • 3rd place teams advance to the Round of 16 as the High Seeds.
  • 4th place teams advance to the Round of 16 as the Low Seeds.

Playoffs Drama

As the dust settles from the group stage, the single-elimination playoffs will commence, featuring Bo3 matches leading up to the grand spectacle—the Bo5 Grand Final. The journey through the playoffs promises nerve-wracking moments as teams vie for supremacy.

Prize Pool and Stakes

The stakes are high, with a prize pool of $750,000 USD, yet the distribution remains shrouded in mystery. Notably, this marks a slight decrease from the previous seasons, which boasted an $850,000 USD prize pool.
