ESL Pro League Season 21 Quarter Finals: Teams, Fixtures, Predictions and more
The first two stages of ESL Pro League Season 21 are behind us, starting tomorrow, March 13th, the remaining eight teams will take on each other in the final stage of the competition.
Qualified Teams and Fixtures
7 out of the 8 ESL Pro League Season 21 playoff spots are occupied by Stage 2 invited teams. Eternal Fire is the only Stage 1 team to make it through, eliminating NiKo's Team Falcons to qualify.
The Quarterfinal fixtures featuring these 8 teams are as follows;
Eternal Fire vs. Team Spirit [March 13th 03:45 p.m. CET]
Completely dominating the second stage, Team Spirit are easily the tournament favorites alongside Team Vitality. The Chopper-led squad features talent that can single-handedly carry games, including most notably donk, arguably the best Counter-Strike 2 talent currently.
While the Turkish side have been on a roll, with multiple top 8 finishes in 2025, the Team Spirit mountain is just too steep to climb at the moment.
MOUZ vs. G2 Esports [March 13th 06:30 p.m. CET]
MOUZ have gained some solid momentum after winning the PGL Cluj-Napoca title and used it to qualify for the Playoffs. Despite dropping siuhy, the team seems to be making solid strides towards their best form. G2 Esports, themselves, are trying to find their footing. Despite the progress made by the team, a lot of times their win comes off the back of a superstar performance.
MOUZ has a slight edge due to its stability and is our pick to win, but G2 Esports has a much higher ceiling, making this game highly unpredictable.
Team Vitality vs. Team Liquid [March 14th 03:45 p.m. CET]
The last hope of North America has no hope in the fixture. The team has gotten better over the months but taking down Team Vitality is no small feat. If they wish to upset their star-filled opposition, they will have to play a level above what we have seen from them.
Natus Vincere vs. MongolZ [March 14th 06:30 p.m. CET]
Since the Perfect World Shanghai Major, The MongolZ has made strides to establish itself as an actual competitor and not a one-major wonder. While the Cluj-Napoca fumble was bad, they did not lose their footing and qualified for the playoffs taking down serious competition.
The Na’Vi side is not the top dog it was in 2024, but they are a strong competitor that can go pound for pound against the best of Counter-Strike.
They do have an upper hand in terms of experience but facing a young squad that is hungry to make a name for themselves, is a herculean task. The MongolZ have been playing amazing and as long as they maintain their composure they can compete and win.
