FalleN may be one step closer to Furia Esports
FURIA, the renowned Brazilian esports organization, is currently engaged in intense negotiations with Imperial over the highly anticipated transfer of veteran captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.
As reported by local brazilians media outlets, the organization engaged in negotiations with Imperial regarding the transfer of the veteran captain and legendary IGL.
According to the report, FURIA has already made an initial offer to Imperial for FalleN's transfer. However, it seems that the sum offered falls short of the agreed buyout amount stated in FalleN's contract.
Furthermore, the offer from FURIA is notably lower than the substantial amount that Imperial had paid to acquire FalleN from Team Liquid.

FalleN's options and the shuffle in the Brazilian scene
The ongoing shuffle within the Brazilian esports scene has placed FalleN at the center of attention.
The experienced player had a range of options to consider, including potentially joining paiN Gaming, continuing with Imperial, or even contemplating retirement from competitive play altogether.
If the transfer of FalleN to FURIA becomes a reality, it would have significant implications for Rafael "saffee" Costa, whose position on the team could be in jeopardy.
In fact, sources indicate that FURIA has already informed André "drop" Abreu that he will not be part of their future plans, leaving an open spot on the roster.
However, regardless of whether FURIA reaches an agreement with Imperial, they have been actively exploring alternative options within the Brazilian esports scene.
The organization has been considering potential replacements, but the high buyout prices associated with certain players may force them to promote Kaue "kauez" Kaschuk from their own academy roster.

FURIA's performance and recent results
The timing of these negotiations coincides with a somewhat disappointing first half of the year for FURIA.
Despite their reputation as a strong team, they have not achieved any major tournament victories in 2023.
Their sole first-place finish was at the Americas RMR for the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
In other events, they fell short, being eliminated in the quarter-finals at IEM Rio and finishing in 15th-16th place at the most recent CS:GO Major, suffering defeats against teams like Monte, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and G2.

FURIA's upcoming schedule and roster changes with FalleN
Interestingly, FURIA will not be participating in the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall Groups.
This means they are exempt from the roster lock deadlines that other franchise teams are subject to.
The Brazilian squad will have the IEM Cologne in late August as their next official competition.
If FalleN joins FURIA, the roster will consist of:
- Andrei "arT" Piovezan
- Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
- Yuri "yuurih" Santos
- Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
- Rafael "saffee" Costa
- André "drop" Abreu (currently benched)
- Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira serving as the coach
The negotiations surrounding FalleN's potential transfer to FURIA have undoubtedly generated a buzz within the esports community.
