FUT Esports Valorant to sign cNed to the roster
FUT Esports, a Turkish Valorant giant, had a pretty successful VCT EMEA season. Unfortunately, they couldn't replicate the success on the International level. This lack of International success has driven the organization to change the Valorant roster.
FUT Esports has sucessfully signed Mehmet "cNed" Yağız İpek to bolster the roster for International success. The report comes from Blix.gg's investigative reporter Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis. The cNed news comes after Natus Vincere's addition of Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks.
Despite the possible upgrade in cNed, Natus Vincere had a difficult season. They placed fourth behind FUT, Fnatic and Team Liquid at VCT EMEA 2023. They faltered at VCT Masters Tokyo and almost missed out on Valorant Champions 2023.
Fortunately, Fnatic's win at VCT Masters Tokyo gave Natus Vincere another chance. The team continued to fail internationally. While neither player was responsible for the team's lacklustre performance, changes had to be made.
At the other end of this deal, FUT Esports placed third behind Team Liquid and Fnatic. The team had a relatively successful first year in Tier 1 Valorant. The team did falter internationally at Tokyo but managed to secure playoffs at Valorant Champions 2023.
Moving ahead, FUT Esports has to make changes. The team has already announced the benching of mojj, muj and qw1. The move was initailly teased in the Red Bull Home Ground teaser.
The reported addition of cNed will bring International experience playing at the highest levels of Valorant. With cNed, FUT Esports will reach greater heights.
