With the announcement of the teams for the VCT Pacific, Riot delighted their Indian fans with the addition of Global Esports as one of the partnered organizations. The Organisation last night announced the addition of XSET's Ayrin as the first player to be part of the VCT 2023 Global Esports Squad.

What is Global Esports?

Global Esports is an Indian Organisation that fielded teams for multiple esports along with an all-Indian Valorant Roster and has been consistently the top team in South Asian Valorant. The team has been a consistent name in the domestic and South Asian Valorant scene.

Despite the immense success at the South Asian level, they failed to perform with the same consistency on the International stage. Still, the three International appearances made them a better representative for South Asian Valorant than its peers.

The Organisation is also the home of one of the most impressive players from India, Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar, the single most talented and famous player the region has produced.

With SkRossi as the star of the roster, The team won multiple events along with the qualifiers held for VCT 2021 Asia LCQ, VCT APAC Challengers Stage 1, and Stage 2.

These consistent results and notoriety helped them become the youngest team in the Valorant Partnership Program.

Who is XSET Ayrin?

Jordon "Ayrin" He is a Canadian Valorant Player. He previously was a part of XSET's VCT NA Challengers stage 2 winning roster and was the secondary IGL for the team alongside Dephh.

Ayrin is a support player and helped XSET become the best team in North America by beating Optic Gaming 3-1 in the VCT NA Challengers. Despite the win, XSET failed to make a solid run at VCT Masters Copenhagen and could only place 5th-6th at Valorant Champions.

Post Champions, the whole XSET squad was supposed to be picked by G2 Esports, as confirmed by Ex-XSET Cryocell, but with G2 missing the spot, the players decided to split up and find options suitable for them.

Soon enough, 100 Thieves picked Cryocells. While Zekken and Sykko are part of Sentinels, Dephh will be joining them soon. In contrast, there is no news about BcJ.

Ayrin joining Global Esports:

The joining of Ayrin was teased by Global Esports a day before, while the last night, the official Twitter of Global Esports confirmed the addition of Ayrin as the IGL for their VCT 2023 Roster.
