After a disappointing VCT 2023 run, Global Esports Valorant  have decided to enter a rebuilding phase. Representing India and the Indian subcontinent on the international stage was a tough task. But the organization tried to do justice and displayed some amazing Valorant throughout the year. Unfortunately, the newly assembled squad had troubles matching up to more established teams. The organization today announced the #GErebuilding.

Global Esports started their Valorant journey with SkRossi, an upcoming CS:GO prodigy who switched to Valorant. They added veteran presence with HellrangeR, KappA, skillZ and hellf. But when hellf left for Velocity Gaming, Lightningfast joined and together the squad stayed together until the VCT 2023 rebuilt. Together the squad dominated the Indian and South Asian Valorant scene along with the Velocity game. It is the only South Asian team to represent India on the International stage since 2020.

Coming into VCT 2023, the squad rebuilt with Bazzi, t3xture, Monyet, WRONSKI and Ayrin. Additionally, they kept SkRossi and lightningfast. Despite the teams considering them as strong Global Esports could not reflect the performance on stage. They missed the playoffs and placed 8th despite the amazing talent pool. Their LCQ run wasn’t strong either, ending their year in disappointment.

Ayrin and Bazzi announced their free agency a few days ago. Earlier today, t3xture announced he will be a F/A moving forward. And with VCT 2024 in sight, the organization has decided to get into a complete rebuilding phase. There are definitely rumors surrounding the new squad. But nothing has been confirmed yet.
