HANWHA LIFE Esports complete their roster for 2024 LCK season
Hanwha Life Esports have now completed their League of Legends roster. The starting roster will compete in the 2024 LCK season. Despite their semi-failed attempt last year at creating a super team through the collection of talent, Hanwha has decided to run it back with the majority of Gen.G’s 2023 roster.
Hanwha Life 2024 LCK Starting Lineup:
- Top Lane: Choi “Doran” Hyeon-joon
- Jungle: Han “Peanut” Wang-ho
- Mid Lane: Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo
- AD Carry: Park “Viper” Do-hyeon
- Support: Yoo “Delight” Hwan-joong
- Jungle/Sub: Jo “Grizzly” Seung-hoon
- Head Coach: Choi “DanDy” In-kyu
- Coach: Lee “Mowgli” Jae-ha
Gen.G Alumni and some of last year’s standouts
At the start of this off-season, Hanwha began by scrapping the majority of their 2023 roster, removing Hwang “Kingen” Seong-hoon and Kim “Life” Jeong-min.
The only remnants from the 2023 roster to survive the culling were Zeka and Viper. To this core, they added standout Jungler Peanut, who has long been considered one of the strongest and most veteran junglers in the LCK. Exciting Support Delight was also added to allow Viper more room to work his magic.
Finally in the top side, they added Doran. While he may not have had the best Worlds performance, Doran is still one of the strongest LCK top laners and a more than solid performer domestically.
Conclusion
While this team on paper looks incredible, the question of synergy is always there at the start. How will Peanut sync up with Zeka for example, after having had Chovy for the last two years? Delight looked strong next to rookie Peyz, but how will he look next to star AD Carry Viper? All these questions will have to be answered by the roster before the start of the Spring season.
