Venue and Commuting

The main stage will be held in the LANXESS Arena, located in Willy-Brandt-Platz 3, 50679 Köln.

The venue is located in the city center so reaching your destination shouldn’t be a hassle. Also, public transportation works great in Cologne so you can take a short trip by bus or tram from different stations based on your location.

Since you’re visiting Cologne for more than one day, it’s worth buying a KölnCard which includes free public transportation and up to 50% off many museums, restaurants and more for as little as €9.00.

Accommodations

When planning your stay in Cologne, it's important to consider how various factors can influence accommodation costs. The price you'll pay will depend on the length of your stay, the number of people in your group, your preferred location, and how early you book.

For example, if you're looking at Airbnb options, a 3-night stay for three people typically costs around €490. If you're traveling with a larger group, you'll find bigger units available, often priced around €1,000 for the same duration. This means that for a group of six, the cost per person would be approximately €170 for the full 3-day stay.

But if Airbnb isn’t your go to option, then you can find multiple budget hotels across the city such as MEININGER Hotel Köln West, Hotel Alt Deutz City-Messe-Arena and SMARTY Cologne Dom Hotel | Boardinghouse. The average cost for these hotels is around 45€ and can go higher based on the room and extra services.

Of course, if you have extra cash to spend and you’re rolling on a big budget, then there are better options with only a few meters away from the LANXESS Arena such as Radisson Blu Hotel, Adina Apartment Hotel Cologne and Hotel Stadtpalais. These are the closest hotels to the Arena with only 200 meters between the locations.
