kt Rolster won 3-1 against Hanwha Life Esports on March 2, the second and final match day of Round 3 of the 2023 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) Spring Playoffs at LOL Park in Seoul, South Korea.

KT advances to play Gen.G on April 7; the winner will face T1 in the 2023 LCK Spring Final on April 8.

kt Rolster vs. Hanwha Life Esports

Game 1: KT wins

With a 15-5 win in 41:31, kt Rolster took Game 1 against Hanwha Life Esports. KT mid laner Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong went 8/1/4 and earned Player of the Game honors; jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan finished 2/0/7 on Viego; and bot laner Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram and support Son "Lehends" Si-woo were 5/3/5 on Zeri and 0/0/11 on Lulu. KT secured seven towers, one inhibitor, Baron Nashor, three drakes and Rift Herald in the win; their opponent HLE found five towers, Dragon Soul and Baron. HLE bot laner Park "Viper" Do-hyeon nothced a 2/1/3 Xayah score in the loss. LCK Player of the Game: KT Bdd, 200 points

Game 2: KT wins

kt Rolster took a 2-0 lead in their series against Hanwha Life Esports with a 7-0 win in 32:02. KT Cuzz finished 3/0/2 on Wukong and led in kills; Kim "Kiin" Gi-in went 2/0/4 on top lane Ryze and held a 102 CS advantage over HLE top laner Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hoon's 0/1/0 Gragas; Bdd added a 0/0/7 Ahri score; and Aiming and Lehends were 2/0/2 on Draven and 0/0/5 on Rakan. KT found 10 towers, one inhib, Baron and Dragon Soul; HLE was only able to secure one tower and two Heralds. HLE support Kim "Life" Jeong-min brought out Zilean in a throwback role but only went 0/1/0. LCK Player of the Game: KT Kiin, 300 points

Game 3: HLE wins

Hanwha Life Esports cut kt Rolster's series lead to 2-1 with a 41:31 Game 3 in which they led 19-11 in kills. HLE Viper went 8/0/6 on Zeri and led in both kills and damage; Kingen found a 5/3/12 K'Sante performance; mid laner Kim "ZEKA" Geon-woo finished 4/4/7 on Tristana; and Life added a 1/1/10 KDA on Renata Glasc. HLE found 10 towers, two inhibitors, three Barons, Dragon Soul and two Heralds in the win, and KT took just three towers and three drakes. LCK Player of the Game: HLE Viper, 200 points

Game 4: KT wins

kt Rolster won their series against Hanwha Life Esports with a 15-8 Game 4 win that lasted 33:41. KT Cuzz went 9/1/5 on Viego and earned his third POTG award of playoffs; Bdd finished 4/2/6 on Veigar; and Aiming found a 2/2/9 score on Xayah. KT secured eight towers, one inhibitor, Baron, Soul, Elder Drake and two Heralds; HLE's only major objectives were two towers. LCK Player of the Game: KT Cuzz, 300 points
