[UPDATED] LCS Championship 2024: Teams, Format, Schedule and more
The LCS Summer Season has drawn to a close, and the top teams from the region are ready to battle it out in the all-exciting LCS Championship to decide which teams will represent the LCS at this year’s League of Legends World Championship.
The tournament will run from August 17th till September 7th, with teams competing at the Riot Games Arena LA, and the final weekend of the tournament being played at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Ticket holders will have access to the full LCS Fan Fest during Finals Weekend.
At the LCS Fan Fest, fans can check out the Riot Arcade, take a trip down memory lane at the LCS Walkthrough, and have the chance to earn an undisclosed skin by winning certain activities which are yet to be announced!
Likewise, all ticket holders will have the chance to hang out at their favorite LCS teams' booths at the LCS Fan Fest prior to the games on Finals Weekend.
Teams
Below is a list of all qualified teams for the LCS Championship based on their standings in the LCS Summer Season:
- Team Liquid (7-0 series, 14-3 games)
- Cloud9 (6-1 series, 13-3 games)
- Flyquest (5-2 series, 11-7 games)
- Dignitas (3-4 series, 8-9 games)
- 100 Thieves (3-4 series, 7-9 games)
- NRG (2-5 series, 5-10 games)
It is worth nothing that Team Liquid comes off of completing the first undefeated season in LCS history, and will surely look to continue their domination at the LCS Championship.
Format
The LCS Championship will feature a double elimination bracket with the top 2 teams from the Summer Season getting a bye in the first round. The 3rd to 6th teams will face off in the first round. Losers from those series will drop to the lower bracket, while the winners will face the 1st and 2nd seeds in the second round of the upper bracket. All matches for the LCS Championship will be best-of-5 series.

First Round - Opening Weekend
- Dignitas vs 100 Thieves [Saturday August 17th, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET]
- Flyquest vs NRG [Sunday August 18th, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET]
Second Round - Lower Bracket
- Dignitas vs NRG [Friday August 23rd, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET]
Second Round - Upper Bracket
- Team Liquid vs 100 Thieves [Saturday August 24th, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET]
- Cloud9 vs Flyquest [Sunday August 25th, 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET]
*All following match-ups will be dependent on the results of these games.
Lower Bracket Final Day
- Fan Fest Begins [Friday September 6th, 9 am PT]

Grand Finals Day

Worlds on the line
The 2024 League of Legends World Championship is set to take place in Europe later this year. As a major region, the LCS has been granted three spots for the this year’s event.
The three North American teams attending the World Championship will be those three teams who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the LCS Championship.
Where to watch
You will be able to catch all of the LCS Championship action live from anywhere in the world. The games will be broadcast live on the official Twitch and Youtube channels for the LCS.
