The Regular Season of the LEC 2025 Winter Split is nearing its final week of play. With playoffs on the line, Week 3 will decide which eight teams make the cut and earn their shot at the first LEC trophy of the year, as well as a chance to represent the region at First Stand.

Though the entire week of games will prove crucial for the LEC, there are three games in particular which will drive hype through the roof as the regular season draws to a close. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at what the best games of Week 3 of the LEC Winter Split have in store for us.

GIANTX vs Fnatic: Revenge in the Bot Lane

Both GIANTX and Fnatic have shown great form to start the Winter Split. Perhaps most surprising has been the rise of GIANTX, a team that has historically struggled in the LEC yet arrive at Week 3 of the 2025 Winter Split with a 4-2 scoreline.

The biggest storyline for this game, however, is without a doubt Noah and Jun loading up to the rift to face off against their former teammates. After a year with Fnatic, the South Korean duo made the move over to GIANTX despite many fans questioning the decision.

Now, the move appears to have been nothing but a win-win so far. With their new bot lane of Upset and Mikyx, Fnatic have now won their last five games in a row. Meanwhile, over on GIANTX, Noah continues to impress while boasting the highest damage per minute (DPM) in the entire league.

Without a doubt, all eyes will be on the bot lane when Fnatic take on GIANTX in Week 3. Expect Noah and Jun to come into the match hungry to prove to Fnatic that letting them go was a mistake they will have to pay for in the end.

Fnatic vs Karmine Corp: Fighting for First Place

Once more, Fnatic features among the most exciting matchups of Week 3. This time, however, they will be facing off against Karmine Corp and French sensation Caliste in a game that could decide who the best team of the Regular Season is.

Currently, both Fnatic and Karmine Corp sit at the top of the standings with a 5-1 record each. Fnatic have been far more solid and methodical in their approach to the game than we have seen from them in a long time, perhaps in no small part because of the addition of a veteran like Mikyx. KC, on the other hand, are a young, explosive, and attractive team that always looks ready to throw down.

Both Razork and Yike have solid claims to the title of best jungler in the LEC, which will make the matchup an exciting one to follow as both players will look to set their teams up for success from very early on.

G2 Esports vs Movistar KOI: Jojo vs Caps for Mid Lane Supremacy

Is this the moment we have all been waiting for? After making history by becoming the first North American player to play in the LEC, Jojopyun went ahead and claimed that no mid laner in Europe stands out in his book. None but Caps, that is.

Currently, the team that has dominated the LEC for years running stands on unknown lands as they struggle to find their footing with the new roster. If Week 3 of the Regular Season happens to go particularly bad for G2, the team might even miss the playoffs altogether. As unlikely as that sounds, however, G2 will need to bring their A-game to avoid that from happening. And that all starts with Caps in the mid lane.

While G2's game against MKOI could prove crucial for both teams and their final place in the standings, it will also mean bragging rights for the region belonging to whichever mid laner comes out on top. Will we get the hyper-aggressive Jojo or the team-driven Jojo? Jojo has landed in the LEC and turned MKOI into a dominant team, but can he still dominate the lane?

Only time will bring answers to these questions. One thing is for sure, though, if either Jojo or Caps happen to get stomped in lane, the memes will all but write themselves.
