NertZ Bids Farewell to ENCE, Embarks on Heroic Journey
In the midst of a major reconstruction, Finnish esports organization ENCE has officially confirmed the departure of Guy "NertZ" Iluz from their Counter-Strike roster. This move follows a series of exits from ENCE. Including the team's coach, In-Game Leader, AWPer, and two riflers, as ENCE seeks to revamp its competitive lineup.
NertZ's Stint at ENCE
NertZ, an Israeli rifler, played a pivotal role during his tenure at ENCE, amassing a commendable 1.13 Rating. Notably, he secured his first major victory with the European side at IEM Dallas in June, showcasing his prowess on the competitive stage.
On his departure from ENCE, NertZ expressed gratitude on Twitter, stating,
"My time at ENCE has come to an end... Looking forward to the next chapter of my career."
NertZ's departure from ENCE was triggered by his buyout clause, marking the end of an era for the Finnish organization. The roster overhaul has seen the arrival of Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski and Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander as part of ENCE's rebuilding process.
Heroic Beckons for NertZ
Rumors initially hinted at NertZ joining forces with Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia and Pavle "Maden" Bošković at Heroic. However, the latter two players ultimately found their place at Falcons. Leaving NertZ as the sole ENCE representative expected to reunite with former coach Eetu "sAw" Saha.
In an official announcement, Heroic revealed that NertZ is the first player to join Eetu "sAw" Saha's new international project. The Israeli rifler's departure from ENCE signifies a significant move for Heroic, who are assembling a formidable lineup for the upcoming competitive season.
Heroic's Current Lineup
As NertZ dons the Heroic jersey, the current lineup for the Danish organization includes:
Eetu "sAw" Saha will assume the role of coach for Heroic's revamped squad.
With the acquisition of NertZ, Heroic is still on the lookout for an in-game leader and an AWPer. Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski is rumored to be a potential candidate for the captaincy, according to information linked by Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov.
What Lies Ahead for Heroic?
As the pieces fall into place for Heroic, questions linger about the future of Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss, who secured short-term deals until the end of the year. The Danish duo's involvement in Heroic's 2024 lineup remains uncertain.
With NertZ's move to Heroic, the narrative of the CS2 esports scene continues to evolve. As teams reshape their rosters and forge new alliances, the landscape promises excitement and anticipation for fans worldwide.
