Sentinels TenZ to miss the VCT Americas Superweek; Marved to step in
After their loss against Levitan, The North American Organisation Sentinels decided to let go of Head Coach Don "Sykko" Muir. Today, they took it to Twitter to further explain the situation of the roster. The video posted by the organisation features Kaplan, the newly appointed Head Coach for the roster, and addresses the changes. Kaplan, previously the Assistant Coach, also informs about TenZ missing the VCT Americas Superweek, while the 6th man Marved, subbing in for the team.
As discussed previously, Despite the big names on the roster, the Sentinel's run has been disappointing for the fans and the org itself. After winning against 100 Thieves, Sentinels lost to NRG in a one-sided game. In the recent VCT Americas week 4, Sentinels lost to Leviatan after a close game. After the NRG and Leviatan loss, Sentinels superstar Tyson "TenZ" Ngo was criticised for his poor performance. Unbeknownst to many, the young prodigy played the game with an injury. TenZ has always been a target of hate whenever Sentinels perform poorly, or TenZ doesn't put up superstar numbers.
After the Leviatan game, Sentinels' CEO, Rob Moore, announced the departure of Sykko. Today, Sentinels released a video explaining the situation. In the video, Kaplan explains the situation. Kaplan is now the Head coach of the team, with DrewSpark the new Assistant Coach. On the change, Kaplan explains, something has to be changed to match the expectations.
Further into the video, Kaplan announced the absence of TenZ from the roster for VCT Americas SuperWeek. TenZ has taken a break because of an injury, and Corona will rejoin the roster post super week. Marved, the team's sixth, will join the team for the two matches of VCT Superweek.
With Marved in and TenZ out, The Sentinels roster for the super week will be as follows:
- Rory "dephh" Jackson
- Bryan "pANcada" Luna
- Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen
- Zachary "zekken" Patrone
- Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi
