After more than 3 weeks away, the LCS is finally back! North American League of Legends fans can rejoice as they prepare to watch Team Liquid measure up against the ambitious Dignitas to start the day on Saturday, July 20th.

The pride of the LCS returns

Having taken a break for the exciting Esports World Cup (EWC) League of Legends tournament, the LCS returns in style. Fans will be elated to welcome back North American mid laner Eain "APA" Staerns and the rest of Team Liquid to the LCS.

The team had an impressive showing at the EWC, as they made quick work of long-time European rivals Fnatic in the quarterfinals.

Just two days after their commanding victory, Team Liquid squared off against reigning World Champions T1 in the semifinals. Coming out of the gates with a point to make, Team Liquid brought T1 to the brink of elimination by claiming Game 1 for themselves.

Despite losing in the semifinals to eventual champions T1 in the end, Team Liquid left the tournament with their heads held high.

Having had time to work on their game even further, the team is surely eager to put their skills to the test against the rest of the LCS.
