Team Liquid announce the addition of cadiaN and Twistzz

Today, Team Liquid announced the addition of Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken to the Counter-Strike roster.

The announcement follows the addition of Casper “cadiaN” Moller, Wilton “zews” Prado and Felipe “skullz” Medeiros to the roster. The team announced cadiaN yesterday, while zews and skullz were announced over the week.

With the addition of Twistzz, Liquid has officially completed its roster overhaul for the upcoming season.

The Team Liquid roster for the foreseeable future is as follows:

CadiaN will take over the IGL role for the team from YEKINDAR. The move lightens YEKINDAR’s shoulders, allowing him to take on a more appropriate ‘star’ role suitable for his playstyle.

CadiaN had some excellent pieces during his tenure on Heroic, but it is safe to say that the Liquid Boys are an upgrade over his previous team. Twistzz, NAF, and YEKINDAR are internationally proven talents and, if led well, can bring in a lot of trophies.

This will be Twistzz’s second run with Team Liquid. The 2-time Intel Grand Slam Winner won his first Grand Slam with Liquid during his time on the team from 2017 - 2021. Together Twistzz and Liquid dominated CS:GO in 2019, but a CS:GO Major win eluded them.

Twistzz joined FaZe and finally won the PGL Major Antwerp 2022. He won a second Grand Slam with FaZe and recently won the first four CS2 tournaments.

With all the Team Liquid pieces in place, seeing how it performs at the upcoming event would be interesting. Since Team Liquid did not qualify for the BLAST Premier World Final, the new squad will debut at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 starting January 22nd.
