The Best Korean Valorant team DragonX (DRX) VS add Jung "foxy9" Jae-Sung to the Valorant Roster alongside Stax, BuZz, MaKo, Rb and Zest. The Duelist/Flex player will be the sixth addition to the team ahead of the VCT 2023 Season.

The Vision Strikers:

With the inauguration of Valorant, Korea was one of the few countries to host events for the esport with Vision Strikers, one of the first few organisations to field a roster comprising of Stax, glow, Rb, k1ng, Zest, Lakia and Efina.

With the forming of the team on 07/20/2020 to 04/15/2021, the team went on to win all the matches they participated in, notably winning First Strike Korea, VCT stage 1 Korea Challengers 1 and VCT stage 1 Korea Masters.

Vision Strikers 102-0 Match streak

The insane 102-match winning streak that spanned over nine months has to be one of the longest winning streaks in Valorant and FPS Esports history, comparable to NiP's 84-0 map win in CSGO 2012-2013.

The sheer dominance of Vision Striker ended in VCT stage 2 Korea Challengers when they lost to NUTURN Gaming on May 1st 2021, And missing the first international LAN of Valorant.

But Vision Strikers bounced back with Mako and BuZz to win Stage 3 challengers and make a solid international debut winning the first match 2-0. But they faltered in the playoffs losing to Gambit (The Eventual Winners) 2-1 in the first round itself.

Valorant Champions 2021 saw the team struggle to make it out of the Group Stage, losing to Fnatic and Cloud9 to place 9th-12th in the tournament. Ending the team run as the team was then acquired by DRX and rebranded as DRX.

New Name Same old Dominance:

DRX started the 2022 season with the same dominance as the 2020 and 2021 seasons. With Stax, RB, BuZz, Maki and Zest on the roster. The team dominated Stage 1 and Stage 2 Challengers, making the international LANs.

The team always managed to dominate the group stage both times but couldn't break the 5th-6th place barrier, losing to the eventual winner to be eliminated. The so-called 5th-6th place curse finally ended when the team managed to 1-up FPX Valorant at Valorant Champions 2022, Instanbul.

DRX eventually lost to Optic Gaming in the lower bracket finals in a close-fought match 2-3 placing behind Optic Gaming and Valorant Champions LOUD.

The Franchised DRX:

DRX VS make it to franchising

With a strong finish to the end-of-the-year event, DRX showed they have the potential and will be one of the best teams in the coming 2023 VCT season.

DRX, as the organisation, also has a strong reputation in the country. DRX was always one of the franchised teams, and Riot's announcement confirmed it.Post the announcement, DRX confirmed that the team would stick together in the upcoming season as there was no need to change the working core.

A few hours ago, DRX VS confirmed the addition of foxy9 as the sixth man for the VCT 2023 Roster. The Duelist Foxy9 was part of Reignite in Japan and was notably playing for World Star gaming in 2021. Foxy9 is a Duelist/Flex player and will be helpful to the current DRX lineup.
