After months of inactivity, OG Esports has released Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov and he has found a new home with Tundra Esports. He will be replacing another OG alumni, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen.

This is a big shift for Tundra, as they have changed nearly their entire roster since their International 13 lineup.

BZM adds a new flavor to Tundra Esports

Topson is known for many things. He was a pub star who helped OG to two International victories. Along the way he innovated several new item builds and heroes for the mid lane.

His most famous contribution was buying Diffusal Blade against Team Liquid. This ensured they had no mana for Bristleback and lost the final game of The International 9.

BZM is an incredibly talented mid laner, but he is a different beast from Topson entirely. Rather than focusing on unorthdox picks and unexpected builds, BZM has a fairly standard playstyle.

Bozhidar follows the meta more closely, and excels on doing well in the lane and making space for his team. He hasn't had a lot of success this year unfortunately. BZM's best performance was a 4th place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 2. Standing in for Navi, his team lost to Tundra Esports in the lower Bracket. It is likely BZM attracted Tundra's attention for his performance in that match.

We believe there is a lot left to accomplish for BZM and we are glad to see him on another impressive roster. However, Western Europe continues to be one of the hardest regions to compete in. Will Tundra rise to the top or is the addition of BZM not enough for the team?
