Riot Games and Valorant again reigned supreme, winning the Esports of the Year 2022 and the Esports Broadcast and Production Team of the Year 2022. Riot has been taking huge steps in production with Project Stryker's inauguration of the Berlin center, with two more in Singapore and North America.
What are Esports Awards, and how are the winners decided?
The Esports Awards is an initiative honoring top-class performance and innovation in the Esports Space. The company works closely with event partners to bring the head of the industry to the limelight.
The process for selecting the winner starts with Public nominations in the specific categories. The Esports Awards panels shortlist the nominees and announce the finalists. The Finalists are open for Public voting and the judging panel. The weightage of the public vote is 25%, and the rest is based on the jury's decision. The Content Group of the year, Esports Content Creator, Esports Personality, and Streamer of the year are decided by Public voting alone. If there is a tie between nominees, the winner is determined based on community votes.
