VCT Americas 2023 Preview: All you need to know
The wait for one of the biggest leagues in Valorant is about to be over. VCT Americas, a part of the International Valorant Leagues, is about to kick off from the 1st of April 2023.
VCT Americas features some of the best Valorant teams, not only in the American Region, but also in the world. 10 teams will go head-to-head to be crowned the Champion of the Americas. But that’s not the end goal here, as the teams will also be competing to fight for points to qualify for VCT Masters Tokyo, and VCT Champions.
#VCTAmericas is finally making its season debut this Saturday, April 1 at 12PM PT! Here’s everything you need to know about the format.
The Format:
Starting from April 1 to May 28, VCT Americas will hold its regular season, where each team will participate in a single round robin, playing one Bo3 match per week. Super week will consist of two matches. The competition will run every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 12 pm PT to 5 pm PT. The top six teams with the best records will advance to the double elimination bracket playoffs, with the top three teams earning a spot at Masters Tokyo and VCT Champions.
The regular season will be from April 1 to May 20, with double match days scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays and single match days on Mondays. The playoffs will take place from May 23 to May 28. Finally, the Last Chance Qualifier will run from July 15 to July 23.

Where to follow the Action?
The VCT will broadcast the games on Twitch and YouTube. Spanish and Portuguese Streams will also be available on both Twitch and YouTube. Riot has also opened the doors for content creators to host watch parties for the different regions.
