VCT Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers: All you need to know

After Fnatic’s triumph at the VCT Masters Tokyo, We are now only a month away from the biggest Valorant fiesta of the year. The Valorant Champions 2023 will feature a total of 16 teams. With three top teams from each of the league already qualified. Three spots at Champions will be filled by China qualifier winners and the rest four belong to the LCQ winners. A single winner from each LCQ qualifies for the Valorant Champions 2023. Seven teams will fight for this singular spot at the Regional LCQs. (EMEA is an outlier with two spots and six teams.) Let’s go over the format and the schedule of the LCQ for VCT Pacific teams.

VCT Pacific Last Chance Qualifiers Format:

For Pacific, The seven pacific teams are seeded into the bracket according to the VCT Pacific league placement. The first three engagements will be knockout games. The bottom five seeds will play the knockout games. The fixtures for the knockout games are as follows:

  • Match 1 - Talon Esports vs. Detonation FocusMe
  • Match 2 - Rex Regum Qeon vs. Global Esports
  • Match 3 - GenG vs. Winner (match 1)

The upper seeds in ZETA Division and Team Secret will play the winners of the knockout games. The ZETA division faces the winner of match 1 and Team Secret faces the winner of match 3. The games henceforth will be double elimination. All the games will be best-of-three with Lower Finals and Grand Finals being best-of-five. The winner of the tournament qualifies for Valorant Champions 2023 in Los Angeles, United States of America.
