How to do your Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage Pick'Ems?

To access the Pick'Em challenge, you can visit the official LoL Esports link. After logging in with your Riot account if you haven't already, you will be immediately directed to the "Swiss" part of the Pick'Em challenge.

Once on there, you will first have to select the eight teams who you think will be the ones to make it out of the Swiss Stage, and onto the quarterfinals.

After completing your selections for the teams to make it past this stage, you will be asked to insert one additional pick. To complete the challenge, you must predict one team that will finish the Swiss Stage undefeated (3-0) out of a preselected eight teams chosen by Riot.

Strafe's Picks: Worlds 2024 Swiss Stage

The Swiss Stage of Worlds is a particularly tricky part of the tournament when it comes to predicting the teams that will make it out. If you want to know more about exactly how this part of the tournament works, visit our complete Swiss Stage guide.

Given the strength of the LCK and LPL leagues in comparison to their western counterparts, it would be fair to consider the four teams representing each of those regions to be the best eight teams at Worlds 2024. When it comes to the Swiss Stage, however, things are not quite that simple.

Due to the innumerable directions the Swiss Stage can take, we can expect a fairly large volume of matchups to see top Asian teams battle it out against one another. As such, it seems extremely likely that at least one or two teams from the LCK or LPL will end up falling during the Swiss Stage.

So, who exactly can we expect to make it out of the Swiss Stage and onto the knockout stage?

Hanwha Life and Bilibili Gaming come into Worlds as the first seeds of the two strongest leagues in the world, the LCK and LPL. As such, there are very few teams at Worlds that can go toe-to-toe with HLE and BLG.

Gen.G, in turn, have dominated all year long, and boast an incredibly high level of play. Gen.G, along with HLE and BLG, complete the holy trinity at Worlds as the three sure-proof teams to get out of the Swiss Stage.

As for Top Esports, the team holds a roster of incredible caliber and, more importantly, extensive international experience. With three former World Champions on the roster in Tian, JackeyLove and Meiko, expect TES to know just what they need to do to get the job done at the Swiss Stage.

LNG had a very strong showing at the LPL Regional Finals to secure their ticket to worlds. Now that the team has been allowed to play with star mid laner Scout, LNG will be hungry to put up a strong showing at Worlds.

T1 may have struggled towards the end of summer, but the reigning World Champions should by no means be underestimated regardless. T1 boasts too much quality on their roster to see their run at Worlds 2024 come to an end so early in the tournament.

G2 and FlyQuest currently stand as the strongest teams from the LEC and LCS, respectively. With several top-tier teams from the LCK and LPL expected to eliminate each other during the Swiss Stage, G2 and FLY are the western favorites to make it into the quarter finals.

In truth, however, while G2 and FLY have certainly got what it takes to get past the Swiss Stage, the final two spots in this round of Pick'Ems could realistically also go to any of Dplus KIA, Weibo Gaming or Team Liquid.

Our pick for undefeated team: Gen.G

Simply put, Gen.G have been dominant like very few teams in the past. Moreover, Gen.G demonstrated they got what it takes to get it done on the international stage when they defeated BLG to win MSI 2024.

After losing the LCK Summer Grand Finals to HLE, expect Gen.G to be clinical at Worlds as they will look to make no more mistakes on their way to lifting the biggest trophy in the game.
