In an electrifying turn of events in the world of Counter-Strike, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam has made a triumphant return to Team Vitality, reclaiming his throne as the Head Coach. The 34-year-old French esports maestro, who played a pivotal role in forming the original French roster for Vitality in 2018, is back to reignite the flames of success alongside his former teammates.

Reunited with Legends: A Trip Down Memory Lane

As XTQZZZ steps back into the fold, he is welcomed with open arms by the captain of the squad, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, who, in an equally thrilling development, has extended his contract with Vitality until the end of 2026. XTQZZZ finds himself in familiar company with Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and apEX, both of whom were part of the original Vitality lineup, marking a reunion of French CS:GO legends.

XTQZZZ's initial stint with Vitality spanned three successful years, during which the team achieved remarkable milestones in the CS:GO competitive scene. His expertise in coaching and strategic gameplay played a vital role in elevating the team to international prominence.

The Zonic Interlude and a Surprise Move to Falcons

Following his departure from Vitality in late 2021, XTQZZZ embarked on a journey that included stints with G2 and TSM. Meanwhile, the Danish coach, Danny "zonic" Sørensen, temporarily took the reins at Vitality. However, in a surprising twist, zonic left the organization this week, heading for Falcons Esports, leaving the door wide open for XTQZZZ's triumphant return.

In a press release, XTQZZZ expressed his excitement about rejoining Team Vitality, saying, "I'm thrilled to reconnect with my Parisian origins at Team Vitality. I'm proud to work alongside the best team in the world, and I’m eager to embark on this exciting new chapter in the world of Counter-Strike 2."

A Temporary Change for IEM Sydney

Vitality's first outing after welcoming XTQZZZ back to the team will be at IEM Sydney. Unfortunately, the new coach won't be able to accompany them due to visa issues. In his absence, Mathieu "MaT" Leber, the team's assistant coach, will take the helm, a role he previously assumed during Vitality's triumphant campaign at Gamers8 in August.

As fans eagerly anticipate the reinvigorated Vitality lineup under XTQZZZ's guidance, one question looms large: Can this reunion of French legends once again set the CS2 world ablaze?
