Yatoro Breaks 16000 MMR Record with Drow Ranger!
Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk can add another achievement to his already incredible list. The two time International champion is the first player to hit 16000 MMR. While there have been several rumors of players getting close to it, Yatoro is the first to showcase this achievement.
Yatoro hit this milestone after playing an impressive 75 pub games in the last week, winning 57 of them, a 76% win rate. This puts Yatoro as number 1 in the MMR leaderboards.
Drow Ranger, Morphling, and Anti-Mage were Yatoro's key to 16000 MMR
Yatoro is no stranger to playing unusual heroes to climb the MMR ladder. He famously showcased his carry Slardar last year to fantastic results.
This year it's Drow Ranger, Morphling, and Anti-Mage. AM is one of Yatoro's signature pub heroes, while Drow Ranger has been picked up in many professional matches. The hero comes with a strong laning stage and can join her team for early skirmishes.
Morphling rounded up the carry trio. Though he has the lowest win rate of 63%, it's still impressive over 38 matches. Anti-Mage has 76% while Drow Ranger astounds with a 79% win rate in 44 games.
Is Yatoro ready to rejoin the competitive scene?
Yatoro, also known as Raddan, is currently on a break from a competitive scene. After a 7-8th place finish at Riyadh Masters and a 9-12th finish at The International 2024, Yatoro decided to take a break. He cited his lackluster recent results as the reason why he needed a break. Long-time teammate Myroslav "Mira" Kolpakov is also on a break.
It's unclear if Yatoro will be returning any time soon. Since his break, Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov has joined as the team carry to impressive results.
But with his recent MMR grind, and glimpse at BetBoom Streamers Battle 8, Yatoro may be on his way back to the competitive scene. Time will tell but we are hopeful to see him in the upcoming 2025 Dota 2 season.
